Pediatric cardiac catheterization is a minimally invasive procedure that allows us to diagnose and treat heart conditions in children. During this procedure, a thin, flexible tube called a catheter is inserted into a blood vessel, usually in the groin or arm, and guided to the heart. This technique enables us to perform a variety of procedures, such as:
